Google sister-company Wing has built one of the world’s largest residential drone delivery operations, pushing aerial product drops past proof-of-concept and into shoppers’ neighborhoods. In the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Wing and Walmart had already reached 60,000 households as of May and have their sights set on serving the full population of 8 million. Shoppers mark a delivery location on their property, a store employee packs the shipment, and Wing’s software calculates the flight route. A hovering drone lowers a tether to pick up and release packages, and returns to the store for docking. “It’s the first time drone delivery is going from pilot programs and smaller metros to ‘L…
Read moreDirector Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead films are the epitome of cult classics, and thanks to their mix of high camp, ridiculous gore, and some legitimate scares, but it’s undoubtedly the pitch-perfect performance by star Bruce Campbell as series protagonist Ash Williams that secured the trilogy as celebrated part of horror movie canon. That said, Cambell’s best performance as Williams might be in the 2015 TV series Ash vs. Evil Dead, which continued the story of the chainsaw-handed demon-slayer and his battles against the undead over three seasons. With Halloween fast approaching, it’s a perfect time to nab the series on Blu-ray, and it just so happens you can grab Ash vs. Evil Dead: The Complete Collection for …
Read moreIt’s been two years since Ryan Reynolds dropped the bombshell that Deadpool’s first outing in the MCU would include Hugh Jackman’s final (?) portrayal as Wolverine. Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine arrives in theaters in late July, and Jackman said he was ready to sign on without talking to someone who should’ve been involved–his agent.
Reynolds and Jackman had previously worked together on Wolverine: Origins where Reynolds played a completely different version of Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Jackman had to bring them together again. Speaking to Fandango alongside Reynolds and director Shawn Levy, Jackman said his decision to play Wolverine again was something he knew he had to take and did so pretty much on the spot.
“I swear to you, when I said I was done, I really t…
Read moreRian Johnson is coming back for another Knives Out film, and now we’ve learned more about it. The third movie is called Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The film brings back Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc, and it has Blanc taking on his “most dangerous case yet.”
Not much is known about Wake Up Dead Man. It’s another whodunnit murder mystery, but the movie’s setting and cast of suspects remains unknown for now.
“I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies,” Johnson said on social media.
Production is set to begin soon on Wake Up Dead Man, Johnson said, ad…
Read moreGetting Brave weapons in Destiny 2 can be a laborious task. The new weaponry, which encompasses classic Destiny guns, is a big part of Into the Light. Not only is this a great way to catch up with weapons you might have missed in the older days or that have been sunset, but to also get some decent gear before The Final Shape launches.
Update: Although Into the Light and the Hall of Champions have gone away with The Final Shape’s release, the Onslaught mode has remained available, allowing you to still earn Brave weapons. You can now also attune Brave weapons in Onslaught activities, just like you could in the Hall of Champions, as of August 6’s Update 8.0.5.
The Last Of Us Part 2 is one of the most-acclaimed games of the past few years, but it has stubbornly remained a PlayStation exclusive for that time. A leaker with a proven track record of reliably releasing game info ahead of time recently said that the PC port of The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered has been finished for more than six months. Come from online casino bangladesh
That leaker–Billbil-kun, over at Dealabs Magazine–claims that development on The Last Of Us Part 2 started way back in 2021, and that it concluded prior to this year, perhaps in November 2023. The leaker notes that the remastered version of the game was released on PS5 in January 2024, which perhaps means that S…
Read moreWhat time is it on the Moon? NASA is trying to figure that out. Together with other global partners, the US space agency is launching a new effort to try to establish a coordinated time for the Moon. The aim is to create a Coordinated Lunar Time (LTC) so everyone can be on the same page. Who knows, if people ever live on the Moon–and that is actually a real plan of the new Artemis program–this could be important to know when the new Call of Duty comes out.
NASA’s Space Communication and Navigation program is taking point alongside other members of the US government and “international standards organizations.” How will they come up with a time?
NASA said it will be determined by a “weighted average of atomic clocks on the Moon.” This is similar to how Earth’s Coordinate Uni…
Read moreIf you were one of the Helldivers 2 players who’d been hoping they’d get to see what Arrowhead had in store if the Automatons were to reach Super Earth, I’m afraid you might want to sit down. Thanks to the latest Major Order, it seems you’re no longer likely to succeed in letting the bots barge down the front door of the divers home planet. That’s right, the whole player-driven protest movement against balancing changes which had set its sights on letting the baddies reach Super Earth, and had morphed into a bit of a roleplaying movement in properly Helldivers fashion, has run into a roadblock – people who just want to kill things and aren’t averse to obeying orders. To see this content please enable targeting cookies.Manage cookie settings Late last week,…
Read moreThe latest PlayStation-published live-service shooter Concord is here, and launch numbers are looking pretty bad so far. When it comes to concurrent player counts, numbers don’t always matter, particularly for single-player games, but live-service titles are a different story. Valve’s new hero shooter Deadlock, which it finally officially revealed last week, had a concurrent player count peak of 89,000 just yesterday, according to SteamDB, a very impressive figure for a game that isn’t even out yet. However, while it’s been playable for a little while now, as long as you’ve got an invite, this weekend did have an actual launch for another live-service hero shooter, Concord. Except, its Steam numbers are not doing so good, amassing only 697 players at one time on the game’s launch day. To se…
